My friend John Moore is a business book reading mofo. I love it when he finds a good one, because he boils them down to the important points and finds an interesting way to communicate those points. In his latest effort, he does a Brand Autopsy "remix" of the book "The Designful Company" by Marty Neumeier. Not only does John give us a good rundown of the book, he shows us his unique music taste.
Here's a great take from Make the Logo Bigger regarding the Dominoes fallout. As a sales person asked me last week after this happened, "what's stopping people from doing this more often?" Nothing really. Just as much as some sickos craving fame walk into a grocery store and kill people, the same type of person can take down a brand. Post a YouTube video. Easy as that. My advice: Be ready. Before it happens.
