I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'm really getting a kick out of watching this 15th Ave Coffee experiment unfold. This piece does a great job of explaining what's wrong with the core Starbucks experience and why creating this fake concept is borderline stupid. Doesn't it seem like Starbucks KNOWS what the problem is, but they're afraid to acknowledge it?
Plus, if you go to the 15th Ave Coffee website ( http://www.streetlevelcoffee.com/ ) and click on the directions, it takes you to Google maps. Then if you click on the street view, it shows you a Starbucks. The internet has a funny way of calling people and brands out doesn't it?
